Guess the player — with your friends

There are plenty of “guess the player” games, but most are solo, level after level on a phone. In Hajma, guessing players is a match between two teams: a photo or career shows on screen, the ref reads, and the team that knows first takes the points. The “Who is he?” group alone has eight ways to guess — all in the browser game.

8 ways to guess the player in Hajma

  1. From the photo

A clear photo: 200 points for a star, 600 for an unknown.

Example: A player in Argentina’s No. 10 shirt lifting the 2022 World Cup.

  2. The blurred photo

The photo stays blurred the whole time — you go on build, shirt and hair.

Example: A tall figure in a sky-blue shirt with long blond hair.

  3. The cropped strip

A thin strip of the photo showing only the eyes.

Example: Eyes, thick brows, light stubble — someone you know?

  4. From his career

His clubs in order, with years.

Example: Sporting CP → Manchester United → Real Madrid → Juventus → Manchester United → Al Nassr: Cristiano Ronaldo.

  5. The hints

The ref opens hints one by one, and each lowers the value: full, then 60%, 40%, 25% and 20%.

Example: French → started at Monaco → won the 2018 World Cup → the World Cup’s all-time top scorer: Kylian Mbappé.

  6. The initials

    His initials plus his nationality.

    Example: L. M. — Argentine: Lionel Messi.

  7. The shared teammate

Three players from three clubs — name the one player who played with all three.

Example: Three players at three different clubs: who is the only one who played alongside all of them?

  8. History’s legends

A retired player’s career — 600 points for the ones only historians know.

Example: Santos → New York Cosmos: Pelé.

How points work

Each question is worth 200, 400 or 600 points — the higher the value, the harder or less famous the player. In the Hints category the value drops with every new hint, so a 600 question pays only 120 on the fifth:

A 600-point question by hint
HintSharePoints
First100%600
Second60%360
Third40%240
Fourth25%150
Fifth20%120

Miss, and the rivals can steal the question for all the points — so stay sharp on their turn too.

Try it: guess from the career

Three real careers in order, easiest first. Think before you reveal:

Santos → Barcelona → Paris Saint-Germain → Al Hilal → Santos. Who is he?Reveal answerHide

Neymar

Rosario Central → Benfica → Real Madrid → Manchester United → Paris Saint-Germain → Juventus → Benfica → Rosario Central. Who is he?Reveal answerHide

Ángel Di María

Malmö → Ajax → Juventus → Inter → Barcelona → Milan → Paris Saint-Germain → Manchester United → LA Galaxy → Milan. Who is he?Reveal answerHide

Zlatan Ibrahimović

In a match, each club comes with its years and loans are marked, so the dates help you place the player’s generation.

Tips for guessing players

  • On careers, start from the oddest club: big clubs had hundreds of players, but an obscure first club narrows it fast.
  • On blurred photos, read the shirt colors before the face — they give away the club or country.
  • On hints, don’t wait: a right answer on the second hint pays three times the fifth.
  • Practice on player pages such as Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappé and Cristiano Ronaldo — each shows his career by year.
